Street life is hard, earn a living and do not feel the pleasure of sitting in school is a little picture of the lives of street children.Yup, because of economic hardship, street children are mostly the same age as us, have to struggle to survive.
Departing from concern about the condition of street children here, the community Save Street Child (SSC) stand. Exact date of May 23, 2011, they began to take action through twitter network, hoping to become "home" for street children at a time to share happiness with them. SSC guerrilla approach street children, fund raising, social campaigns, engage in activities that involve street children such as picnics, learning, playing, and much more.
Currently, the SSC movement began to spread to several citiesin Indonesia such as Jakarta, Surabaya, Medan, Makassar, and Bandung.
You too can be part of this action. What you need to do is:
1. Follow @ savestreetchild and become facebook fans "SaveStreet Child" to get info about street children and then pass it on.
2. Sharpen your active concern with observing their lives and do not hesitate to befriend street children. For example, a brief chat with them.
